My logo design expresses many things. The hands are conjuring the magical aspect of creating art, and lovingly hold the spiral of creating. Hand, heart and spirit all combine with the ideas, bringing into being something new, never seen before.

I have always used the spiral as my “signature” stamp on my pottery and sculpture. On my travels in Ireland, I found so many depictions of this symbol in ancient places, on rock art, on Celtic jewelry, and on the oldest pottery found there.

The spiral symbolizes growth and evolution, which then allows us to see a new perspective. If you study the triple spiral, it can be seen as a process of coming back to the same point again and again, but at a new level of awareness. Humans have used the spiral to communicate for eons, and I am humbled to continue to use this powerful image in my art.
