A love for teaching: going on-line!

My art and teaching has ben on hold for a few months as I welcome my new grandchildren here…. A fabulous time! I am looking forward to on-line teaching in November and December this year. I will be an instructor with John Campbell Folk School, where I have taught for several years, and the platform will be on Lessonface. I will offer introducory classes in needle felting, as well as an in-depth landscape classes in needle felting. Both will be chock full of tips, instruction and fun! Links to the classes are https://lessonface.com/Needlefelting and https://lessonface.com/PaintingWool for the November classes. They will be repeated in December.

I am busy creating new work to feature in the on-line classes, and am so excited to try this new way of reaching and teaching people. I have always loved being an instructor, sharing my skills and knowldge, and helping people to grow and develop their own skills. When I reflect on my teaching career, it’s wonderful to remember all of the students and situations I have been in! From high school, college and community ed classes, to offering an array of workshops and classes at my Riverrun Art Center, it has been so rewarding. Looking forward to more!
